Havredal's Swedish sea drink Kafé & Kondis is now available in stores

Earlier this year, Havredals launched its new Havredryck Kafé & Kondis, specially adapted for coffee, for cafés and restaurants. Now Havredals is expanding by offering Kafé & Kondis for sale in stores directly to consumers. The coffee-adapted beverage has an increased foamability and more neutral taste, giving coffee a more prominent role. Like the other drinks, Havredals continues with the same retro flirty packaging design.

The idea behind Havredal's new Havredryck Kafé & Kondis is to let coffee play the main role. Therefore, the product has been developed to take a step back in both sweetness and oat flavour, but based on Havredal's original recipe. It is designed to mix well with all types of coffee and has a higher fat content that gives a full-bodied, creamy flavour with a slightly nutty character.

- We continue to increase the availability of our products and look forward to more retailers bringing in Kafé & Kondis. There is a demand for more plant-based beverages to go with coffee. Kafé & Kondis meets the flavour profile that coffee drinkers like in that it is more neutral than our original drink and provides a big lovely foam that baristas like," says Per-Johan Thörn, CEO of Havredals.

Havredals Havredryck Kafé & Kondis has been developed in close cooperation with cafés and is designed to work well both in the brewing coffee and frothed in the cappuccino. The beverage has a carefully developed recipe to meet the demands where the coffee should be the focus. The more fibre-rich Havredals Original also works well in coffee with its sweeter taste for those who prefer it.

Kafé & Kondis are already available at Martin & Servera, ICA, Coop, Mathem, Apotea, CityGross, Axfood, Happy Green, Bageriprodukter, Out of Home and Flaivy. Like Havredals' other plant-based dairy alternatives, Havredryck Kafé & Kondis is made in Sweden from oats and rapeseed grown by Swedish farmers.

Comments
